I don't know if this has been posted yet, but sometimes with Safari 1.2 when I command-click to open a new tab, it just goes directly to the new page. However, the even weirder part is that once at the new page one can't go back. The back button is greyed out, as if I just started Safari or something.
Even stranger, if I ctrl-click to get the contextual menu and select "Open link in new tab" for the same link, I will get the same behaviour. No new tab and the back button is greyed out.

Yes, this has been posted before. It's a new bug in Safari 1.2. It does in fact open in new tabs (you can still switch with command-shift-right/left arrow), you just can't see them.
Closing the window (or the app, don't remember) fixes the problem.

Nasrudin sat on a river bank when someone shouted to him from the opposite side: "Hey! how do I get across?" "You are across!" Nasrudin shouted back.

Ya it is a bug people have been talking about. Rollover preloads are also messed up. with I knew that earlier cuz I was trying to debug my websites.

Strange. You'd think they would have noticed these in internal testing. I noticed it (and confirmed it wasn't my own settings) within the first couple of days of usage, and they're pretty significant bugs.
Oh well... 1.3...

MOSR is reporting that 10.3.3 may address this issue (or other Safari cosmetic issues), or possibly a new version of Safari will come out not far after 10.3.3's release that will hopefully address these issues...

I mean jeez! You really need a rumor site to tell you that 1) the well known beta of 10.3.3. will be released. and 2 that safari will get updated with it or after it!?

Here is a real pickle, Apple is working on Safari 1.2.1 to fix the newly introduced bugs.
