Hi all.

Since the most recent update to OS X, Mail.app isn't leaving mail routed to another folder (by a rule) marked as unread. Any ideas on how to fix this?

if it is simply moved it will not be marked as read. modify the rule to mark the message as read

Perhaps I wasn't clear enough. Incoming mail from a listserv is being routed to another folder on my IMAP mail account. That mail is, for some reason, being marked as read, even though I haven't touched it.

I should add this:

The folder will indicate how many pieces of unread mail it contains, but when I click on the folder, none of the new mail is indicated with a little dot, as it is in other folders.

Very odd.
