I installed iTunes for Windows on my work PC (Win XP) in order to listen to music while at work (I'm a Client/Server Developer, not that it matters). I brought a lot of my music from my Mac at home on a CD and imported it into iTunes. Now here's where it gets tricky. My company has an internet firewall where you have to type in a username and password to access the outside internet. In most applications, a Windows pop-up box appears asking for your username and password. However, whenever iTunes tries to access the outside internet(CDDB, Music Store, etc) it simply fails with the following error message:

iTunes could not connect to the Music Store. An unknown error has occured (401).

Make sure your network connection is active and try again.
Is there a way to configure iTunes (or somewhere else in Windows) to automatically have my username and password entered to I can access the internet?

Additionally, this means that I can't authorize my computer for purchased music from iTunes that I have brought from home. Is there a way to do this offline if I'm unable to connect to the internet?

Thank you for any help you can offer.
