I'm doing a lab report right now and I go to put in a superscript for R^2 and there is none! No subscripts either. I need to do Q with a little 10 behind it.

Can I download fonts in order to put the super/subscripts in? I checked the MS site for Word. Nothing. This report is due tomorrow and I'd really like to be able to do it properly. Can anyone lend a hand?

Thanks

Um superscipt & subscript are options in the "Font" section of the control pallet and you can also use the Format->Font menu item and then check boxes for superscript or subscript

On my version it's Open Apple and = for subscript, Open Apple and + for superscript. Instead of highlighting the text to modify, you can use the keyboard shortcut to start the sub/superscript and then type the keyboard shortcut again to end.

I used to avoid Word until I learned those. Go to help and type in keyboard shortcuts to get lots more.

Damnit. I cant believe I didnt see that option in the formatting platet. I assumed they werent there because for my last report I put the Word file on my PC and added in the superscripts. When I put the file back onto my Mac the superscripts didnt show up. Thanks!!
