Been searching for this browser...I.e. 5 is pathetic, but I can only find a 1.1 build for my Pismo.

Can someone point me to the best Mozilla build for OS 9? Would also be interested in hearing of other fave browsers for OS 9.

Don't want to install Jaguar as it would be too slow on my Pismo.

I think Mozilla 1.3 was the last release for Classic Mac OS. The developers decided it was a dead end and focused on Mac OS X.

You can find some unofficial builds of 1.3.x here.

I have no idea how well they work and no nothing of the source so use at your own risk.

The Mozilla servers have 1.2.1 for Mac OS 9, you can get that here.

Mike S,

Thanks so much! I have Mozilla 1.2.1 running sweetly on my Pismo / OS 9.2... I am free of I.Eeeeee!!!

Much appreciated. Will pay more attention to the software forums going forward. I don't hang out much in the Software boards.

Cheers.
