I live in a household that shares a DSL connection between 4 of us. A new housemate recently moved in and attached his Powerbook to our DSl connection - he uses Mail as his primary email program.
Problem:
When my machine is on, he cannot send email via Mail; the program tells him that he lacks sufficient priviledges. My hard drive appears as a Network volume on his Powerbook. When my machine is off, there is no problem.
Any advice or solutions?
I have gone through all my system prefs and I have no network, firewall or sharing enabled at all. I do not use Mail ever. I'm running 10.2.6; he's on 10.3.
Thanks!
