Can you time transitions in keynote? I have 5-6 graphics on a slide and I don't want to keep having to press the mouse button for each one to appear, I want them to appear 1-2 seconds apart automatically. This is possible in powerpoint, can it be done in Keynote? Thanks.

If you export your presentation as a QuickTime movie, you can set it to advance every X seconds.
I can't recall a way of doing it otherwise. Either way, Keynote is seriously in need of an update. It's only at version 1.x, so some missing features are understandable/expected, but it's been a while...
