Is there as software which generates a save password randomly. I looked for a function like that in Keychain.app but it only seems to store passwords and not create them.

I want to create random passwords for all kind of stuff and only use one custom master password in order to lock the keychain containg them.

Try RPG (it's at http://www.well.com/~ddd/RPG/) I use it all the time.
