Is it possible to block an email address in mail?

You can set-up some Mail "Rules" to have a message from a particular person go straight into the trash and/or be deleted immediately...

Will that work?

I've had a stroke, and although I worked on Macs before said stroke, don't know how to block certain emails, and I guess gorickey told Bill how to do it, but not in the post. ??? BW

It's there. In Mail, you will need to set up a Rule to tell it to delete messages from a particular sender/email address. Here's a screen shot of the Rules window, which can be accessed from Mail's Preferences.
