do any of you know if it is possible to have Sofa automatically add album art to the songs/albums as it plays? is there a preference that can be tweaked? file in the package? i would love to let iTunes play overnight, let Sofa do its thing, and let the two of them take care of all the dirty work.

Go to Preferences>Media and click "Send the image to the artwork panel", select "Apply to all songs on current album" and click "Save the image to the album folder" (If you have it sorted by Artist/Album as iTunes does naturally.

exactly, i could have sworn it worked once for me, but i had trouble having it add it again.
Go to Preferences>Media and click "Send the image to the artwork panel", select "Apply to all songs on current album" and click "Save the image to the album folder" (If you have it sorted by Artist/Album as iTunes does naturally.

I have no problem storing the album art to the track.

Yea.. it is kind of buggy right now. The JPEG compression isn't that good and I can't pick the other formats (TIFF, PNG, etc)

Though I'm not much of a stickler when it comes to my mp3s having correct album art (the same cannot be said about correct ID3 tags), I think that when I get info on an mp3 and I see album art it's definitely pretty cool.

I have a question about how album art works... Is the album art stored in the mp3 tag as jpg data or is it stored on the computer somewhere?
