In Entourage, is there some way to have the deleted items folder on the Exchange server automatically emptied when I quit? I tried to create a schedule to do it, but the schedule only allows me to choose folders on my computer, not on the Exchange server. So the deleted messages keep piling up until I manually delete them. Very annoying when you are trying to support people that can barely turn on a computer, let alone figure out how to delete their mail.

The really great part is that if you have created rules that move messages to folders on your local machine, Entourage will copy the message to the local folder and move the copy on the server to "Deleted Items"; if you then right or left click on the "Deleted Items" folder (like to manually delete the Deleted Items), Entourage will rerun the rules on those messages. Great design

The good news for you is that you can tell Entourage to empty the Deleted Items whenever you quit. Go to Tools>Accounts and double-click your Exchange account. Pick the Mail tab and click the button "Click here for advanced receiving options". The last item is a checkbox entitled "Empty the Deleted Items folder when quitting Entourage".
