Does Proteus have away messages? I cant figure out how to check someones away msg... has this been developed yet or what?

you can set away messages.

preferences > status messages > new status.

to be able to see someone else's status message, i think there is a retrieve away message thing in the message window.
if you message someone who has an away message set it will display it in a dialog sheet.

works fine for me

In Proteus 3.06 you can bring up someone's away message by clicking "Retrieve Away Message" in the message window with that user. It should be in the toolbar, if it isn't use Customize Toolbar to add it.

In the upcoming Proteus 4, the away message can be shown in the Contact list.

awesome thats what i wanted to hear. i didnt know if the current version could check cause its not in like the drop down menu of each user so i didnt know... i use trillian so thats the only thing im used to but theres no mac version of that...
