But the other two work fine if I choose to check the working accts separately. All three accts have worked for years- now I used Cocktail to clean out the caches and boom the Entourage crashes when it check a certain email acct. Fixed permissions, what else can I do?

Certain spam email messages can crash Entourage. Try turning off your Junk Mail filter and all your mail rules.
