I have read some interesting discussions here about what people use to take notes in lectures at college/university. But my real interest is at the other end as a lecturer of mathematics. What are people using to present lectures ? There are some interesting things about like

http://www.touchboards.com/mimio/mimio_mac.asp

http://www.e-beam.com/

for electronic or on-line whiteboards. Do you as a lecturer or do your lecturers use this kind of thing or powerpoint or similar or just whiteboards or blackboards ?

Michael

PS. I guess this could go in peripherals but somehow it seems like its a software question ultimately.

All the ones I know tend to use whiteboards unless they're specifically talking about computers (i.e. the CS/IS department). They'll occasionally use overheads, but in general they seem to consider it more trouble than it's worth setting the whole thing up.
