I have an important fax to send via Page Sender tomorrow (which I'm using for the first time) and was wondering if anyone here has a fax number I can try sending a fax to for testing... I didn't see a test number on their site anywhere...thanks for any suggestions or help.

I think you can sign up for an eFax Limited Account which seems to be free (though you'll get a long distance fax number to dial into) but if its important...

They sorta hide the Limited Account link so hopefully this works for you:
https://www2.efax.com/efax/twa/signupFree?rqcp=1

If it doesn't you can find the Limited Account link around the top navigation bar on basically every page but the sign up pages (eg. click Help or something)

I've never used eFax so I can't guarantee how this works but this could help you out if no one comes through with a fax number (I would give you one if I had one )

I use PageSender -- just got it about 10 days ago -- and it does work well.

PageSender has improved considerably from when it was first released (I was trying to escape from FaxSTF X, what a POS!). Back in those days, PageSender would crash after sending a couple faxes and if you had to abort for any reason, you had to restart the PageSender background application and kill off the efax process.

Now, though, just last week I sent about 170 faxes in a row with no problems. Now that's improvement!

thanks everyone for your help. I did get one fax sent off & it worked fine.
It's a nice OSX program..I also liked their PDF Pen...but I don't have the full version of Acrobat which would allow you to save your revised versions of the PDF files otherwise I'd be getting that program too.
