CLOSE OR MOVE THE FRIGGIN'SPELL CHECK in Appleworks on the iBook.
Here's the Screen Shot I am running os 10.2.8 and appleworks is 6.2. I get home from work and my wife shows me what happened while she was trying to edit a paper for school. I thought it was impossible to move the top of a window above the screen.

Help me please,

Michael

You could trying deleting the AppleWorks' preference file/preferences - then AppleWorks should 'forget' the saved location of the window.

I don't have AppleWorks so I can't tell you exactly where it keeps it preference files but its likely to be:
~/library/preferences/
or
~/library/Application Support/

To close it you can try the escape key.
To reset it to a accessible position you could try changing the screen resolution.

It should have been impossible.
Nasrudin sat on a river bank when someone shouted to him from the opposite side: "Hey! how do I get across?" "You are across!" Nasrudin shouted back.

Thanks for the quick reply guys. Sandsl: I thought about the preferences fix but I was feeling to lazy to redue my preferences. Developer your change the resolution trick was the easy fix.

I still don't know how she did it.

Reformat your hard drive.

But seriously, the preferences thing is the only option I can think of...

How did it get up there! (That program is crap)
