I want to create a disc image on my Mac that is Mac and PC compatible. I don't want to burn a Mac/PC hybrid CD, I want to have an actual disc image file which I can transfer to a PC via network/Internet and which the PC user can burn themselves with relative ease. Does anyone with more knowledge of Windows file formats than myself have any suggestions? I'm running Panther and I have Toast 6 Titanium if that helps any. Thanks.

You just need to create an ISO. That can be mounted or burned in Windows, Linux, Mac.

Now is the stupid question bonus round. Can I just make an ISO disc image with Toast and then change the file extension from .toast to .iso or is this going to be more complex?
