My main hard drive with the OS is completely full with applications. However, I have three other internal hard rrives on my machine, and was wondering if installing programs on either of them would be okay as far as running at normal speed, etc. Thanks for your help.

yes. You also should move some apps or files over and give the OS some VM breathing room.

totally a personal thing, but if you have another hard drive, keep one clean (os and applications only) and one with your files.
When you go for an upgrade, some upgrade applications freak out if it doesn't find that it's looking for in the Applications folder...

I used to have all third-party apps stored on a separate partition.
It works fine. No problems whatsoever. This is a Mac, after all!

Thanks, guys. I'll just move my games over since they take up the most room.
