Meteorologist keeps crashing.

I just downloaded the latest version of meteorologist from source forge, and it always crashes. After running thru set up, it says loading up on my icon tray, then instantly shuts? Is there a reason for this? Has anyone else had this problem?
Maybe I should use a different weather program, but i was looking for a free one.

Yeah, that latest release wasn't so hot, but it was also the first release since the main developer let it go for others to take over...hopefully it'll improve...
