i can't remember the exact keys (someone is bound to reply after me, with the correct keys), but i think you boot Entourage up while holding the option key? or cmd+opt?

the best way to rebuild your email database is to import the data into Mail and delete Entourage. it worked wonders for me

Correct! "Typical" or "Advanced" rebuild will be your choices...try Typical first and then Advanced...

One more thing to keep in mind - you cannot use the "Rebuild database" feature if any other Office apps are running. And if you use Office Notifications, that also counts as an app and must be turned off.
