I there any way to make iCal not change to the current date upon launch?
I've replaced the default icon in Finder but of course when I launch iCal I get the old Icon back with the current date.

Okay, I'm using this:
for my iCal icon. Now you can probably see why I do not want iCal changing the icon on me when it launches.

You would need all the associted calendar date files to make it work for that custom icon and replace those with the default iCal files...I doubt the author of that icon did that...
