MX worked fine with OSX but I blindly did the recent MX upgrade...and promtly lost names of all my local files. The assests (jpg's and gif's) have names but neither the folders nor any html files have names...
I've spent two days on the DW forum wandering around looking for things about my 'computer' that would be effecting their files, yet my Mac worked fine with the regular MX?! Nothing on my computer has changed - except the MX upgrade.
Since I do not use all the features of DW anyway - I'll probably bail to find something that's not so 'over featured' - it's like getting a 7-series BMW with the infamous I-Drive when a 3-series would have been just fine...

When I upgraded, the installer asked if I wanted to save my previous configurations. That was your opportunity to avoid having this happen. The prompt was very clear.

You lost your configurations, or you lost your files themselves?
At the worst you should be able to just delete and then recreate the site...
