Hello,
I'm not sure if this should be posted here or in networking but I can't figure out the cause of my problem. I have a Pismo running 10.3.3 which I just added an airport card to so I can connect to my roommate's DSL connection. I can surf the internet fine but Mail seems to be stuck. When I launch the program the viewer window won't show up. I'll open a new window and it will say opening mailbox with the status wheel constantly spinning. It will always require a force quit. I thought there might be somehting wrong with my network settings but I've set up Mozilla with the same email accounts and it works OK. I've also set up internet sharing with an old G3 tower over ethernet and I can check my mail fine in 10.2.

One more thing- if I plug my computer into the ethernet at work the Mail.app works great. I don't understand what's going worng. If anyone can help me I'd really appreciate it.

It's certainly not a generic Airport/Mail.app thing... I'm using it just fine here.

Maybe you have a goofy network configuration... Airport and wired ethernet use different configurations... make sure they both have relevant DNS info set properly (if you're using static IPs and not DHCP).
