sorry if this question is simple, i'm new to the mac world. i've got my old 3.5" hd with all my old files on it formatted for windows xp, but no computer to put it in to burn off all the data. i was wondering if i could use virtual pc to transfer some of the files to my new powerbook. thanks for any help.

OSX can read FAT32-formatted drives, so no VirtualPC should be required. The real issue is connecting it to your Powerbook. If you bought/borrowed a Firewire case you could do it.
