Help! Deleted WindowshadeX and disaster!

I deleted Windowshade X from Finder after searching for all occurances (secure empty trash). I then get a message indicating all my open applications have crashed! It then reloads the blue default, blue desktop and ALL my bookmarks, system prefs, EVERYTHING has been reverted to when I first bought the machine! How do I get all of this back?
