I have a user who has a G5 w/ 10.2.8 and running Office v. X with all the updaters (10.1.5). No matter what, collating never works. Might a upgrade to Panther fix this?
Thanks in advance.

Collating? As in printing multiple copies of a document in the right order? I think that's more a function of the printer driver than Word.

You have the definition right, but collating has never worked properly under OS X. Even with collating checked during printing, it does not. Does anyone know if this was taken care of with Panther?

You have to tell us more about your printer and what precisely you're trying to do.
I can print out 3 copies of a multi-page document, and each document is properly collated. It worked in 10.0, 10.1, 10.2 and works in 10.3....
So.... please tell us more precisely about your problem...
