I was just at FOSE and they had several G5 Xserves there, including one rack with a (powered up) Xserve pulled out so you could see the shiny dual "G5" heat sinks. They also had four Xserve RAIDs, two per rack and several G5 "cluster" units.

They were using them to demo applications like Peoplesoft and the Simbiot stuff. But what really perked my ears up was a beta of Oracle 10g which an Apple rep said was 30-60 days away from golden master.

Apparently, Apple has been working very closely with Oracle to get this on the G5 and their efforts are paying off.
