Hi all,

We have a user at my company using a Dual 2GHz PMG5 with 2GB RAM and a 160GB HD partitioned into 2 volumes. She is running 10.3.3 on the main partition and both Illustrator 10.0.3 and Photoshop 7.0.1 reside on the OS partition. The other partition is completely blank.

When she has both applications open and switches between the two, after about 30-40 minutes, attempting to open a file in Illustrator that imports artwork takes about 10x as long as it did when she first started using both apps. This does not occur when first using both programs, and it disappears if the computer is rebooted.

Both Illustrator and Photoshop are using the OS parition as their main scratch disk.

Any ideas of how to resolve this? I've tried deleting both apps preferences so they would be recreated but that didn't help.

Thanks!
