Looks nice ! Thanks.
Are there any other alternatives ? I'm looking for something good looking to draw Computer Network related diagrams.

There might be alternatives, but there's really no need to even look at them-- nothing's going to be better than OmniGraffle.
You can download a free demo and try it out...

Alright. I can see that its quite powerful and flexible from the screenshots. Is there a way we can import "Windows boxes" in as well ?

Not sure what you mean by that, but check out the freebies section of the Omnigraffle page - there's a pallette of computer network related icons available for download there.

There is currently no way (that I know of) to automatically map a network in OmniGraffle. I have been working on a few OmniGraffle add-ons in my spare time (the SQL visualizer is starting to look nice), and a network mapper is on the list (I was thinking of hacking up a version of nmap to provide the information).
OmniGraffle is very AppleScritable, so there is a lot of room for add-ons. There is also a good mailing list over at their site for OG discussions.

OmniGraffle does automatically map out a folder and it's contents if you drag-n-drop the folder on OmniGraffle
Has anybody on a network tried dropping the network icon on OmniGraffle? (I'm just wondering if this is close enough to work)

By dropping the network icon on OW you get exactly what you would expect... the map of the network folder. To make it useful as a network mapping tool you would have to use something like nmap, that is going to find all of the local network devices, whether they are broadcasting file-sharing points or not.
As I said earlier, this is a future project for me.
