I recently installed this software on my iMac & it freezes up about 15 minutes into using it. I attempted to make a birthday card for my mother twice & it ended in failure due two the freeze-ups. I get a dialog box that says: "Corel Printhouse Condition #1001 - Palmain - 0416 - a problem occurred accessing memory."

My iMac (rev.A) has 64 megs built-in (RamDoubler 8 set only to File-Mapping). In addition I have over 3 gigs of free space on my hard drive. I don't see how I can have a memory problem. Note that I have set preferred memory for application to 12,000k which is about twice the suggested memory. Anybody with the same software have any suggestions? For that matter does anybody at all have any suggestions?

I sent an email to Corel & am waiting for them to respon.

I use Printhouse all the time and it is a good program, it is just a RAM hog. You need to hightlite the program, under file go down to get info and memory, then increase it by 5-7megs.
That has solved all of my crashes with it.

Tony, your right. In fact before I read your post I increased Pref. Mem. to 26,000K with virtual mem. on. It hasn't crashed since I did that. Based on your post I am going to drop it to 24,000K, which is still more than what you suggested, & I'll see how it does. No point in giving it alot more ram than it really needs to be stable. Corel instructions should have given a more realistic suggestion for the Pref. Memory.
