After a little hiatus there's been some recent and good coding in Camino. This is a project that I'm glad is around becasure it's an excellent browser.
Some highlights:
New cookie management
New autofill (still to land)
New Icons
New pref panels
Improved inline bookmarks
Camino is very compliant and very speedy. General responsiveness and rendering are excellent. The tab implementation is excellent. IMO this is a better alternative to Firefox at least because of the native Mac UI.
Get the latest nightly at the Mozilla site and then you can compare it to the other browser(s) you use.

new and improved tabs are coming too, although not before 0.8 (similar to Adium 2's from what I've seen, but not the same due to licensing issues).

Adium 2?
I'll look forward to trying Camino again, I recently dismissed it in favor of FireFox for some feature that I use a lot that just doesn't work in Camino... I can't remember what it was, but it's the reason I use FireFox, some habitual thing that I must have tried to do in Camino that didn't work the same way... a key combo that I use all the time, something small.
But yeah, both Camino and FireFox's nightlies are awesome, I've been really impressed lately with the lot of 'em.

Looking forward to seeing the new tabs, I heard about the tab issue over in the Adium Forums. Both parties were ready to agree to each others GPL.

The thing that keeps me from using Camino on a regular basis is lack of integration with Apple's spell checker engine. Add that and I'll be a Camino boy all the way.

If they supported that I'd be using Camino as my back-up browser over Safari in no time.
OmniWeb 5 is primary or at least it will be when it's done ;-)
