I find using Disk Utility such an un-Mac-like experience for burning CDs, so I've been planning to get Toast (for easier burn of multi-session disks of CD-R type, for example).

But this MacBurn was just announced on the MacNN page. Anyone have any experience with this product... or the company that's released it (it's not on VersionTracker at this point) ? I like the look of its window, but "looks ain't everything".

I'm interested too. I have Toast 5.2.3 and it burns DVDs too slow (at 1x). I'm disappointed that MacBurn doesn't have more info or a demo version to download. For me, at least, the lack of a demo version is an inauspicious sign of product quality - as if the company doesn't have enough confidence in its product to let you try before you buy.

As a result, we have to wait until someone tests it for us.

I emailed them and they said a demo version should be available next week.

Well I just saw this product at CompUSA tonight. I noticed that no where on the box, or on the web site, does it mention that you can COPY a CD to CD but that you can create a ISO from a CD. Makes me think that you have to do it "manually" to copy the CD. Am I right in thinking this? Does Panther have built in ability to do CD to CD copy?
