When you watch a video at the iTMS, where does it get downloaded to?

Not sure exaclty, but once the video fully downloads, do a search for "qtplugintemp", visibility set to all. The file that is found is your video. Copy it to the desktop and rename it with the .mov extension.

I tried to find it with:

sudo find / -name "qtplugintemp"

But no results were returned. I went to the iTMS right after and continued to play the video and the cable modem didn't flash any i/o lights, so I know it's still cached somewhere. Maybe it's in RAM?

I've used that qtplugin search thing before from seeing a video on a web browser but didn't catch the iTMS loaded video.

That was it! It was in:

/tmp/501/temporaryitems >la

I couldn't find it using my search above, because of case sensitivity. Thanks to both of you!

QTPluginTemp files aren't being stored on my computer anymore. I downloaded a few videos a week ago, and when I tried today - no luck. Did Apple change the way music videos are handled or am I just missing something?
