iCal Problem: Today not highlighted in month view

Today is no longer highlighted in month view (in it's usual pale blue). I recently turned on timezone support, turning it off doesn't seem to solve the problem. Actually, I'm not sure if they're even related.

have you tried just quitting and relaunching iCal?

is the correct day highlighted in the little multi-month pane?
