My friend downloaded iTunes and his music is all scattered around in folders, so is there an easy way to get them all into itunes?

What I would do...
Make sure "Copy songs to iTunes music library" checked. Then locate all these songs and drag 'em into iTunes. This will copy them to an organized folder and be all good.

Then delete the scattered files, but make sure they are in the iTunes Music folder.

My PC being currently dead, so I haven't yet used iTunes for Windows, but in the Mac version I believe you can just drag a folder into iTunes and it will look for MP3s there. You might want to try that.
