Not only does it not automatically start the animation (as IE 5.2 does) but you have to MANUALLY click the fwd button to go through the pix.
Isn't this an awfully basic sort of animation on a VERY high-volume web site for Safari not to handle it properly... esp. with Safari already to 1.2 ! (no, PithHelmet is NOT installed on my system)
Strange thing is that SO many ads' animation works in Safari. Can anyone tell from the javascript at Weather.com if they use some exotica that we shouldn't expect Safari to handle?
Apple needs to be providing a world-class browser with its system: Safari speed is great, but compatibility still has a way to go. Please try it out:
