I am unfortunately using apple mail (I think I will switch back to Eudora) as my default email and it has some kind of bug or virus in it. Every time I open Apple Mail it replicates the last few messages and gives me 3 or 4 copies of each email, then crashes before I can open my emails. I have about 4500 messages in my inbox, and it also seems to crash as it indexing all the mail. I know that is probably excesssive, but I can't even work in Apple Mail to organize or delete some of those messages now. I have submitted the report many times to Apple, but not sure what happens when you do that?
I have a dual g4, 1 ghz, 1.25 g ram, running 10.3.3
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

It's a bug. Not a virus.

If Apple Mail can't handle that huge number of messages in your inbox - why not use something else to organize your messages and *then* use Mail?

Any suggestions on how to do this now that Apple Mail crashes every time I open it, even before I can edit or delete any messages???
Thanks!
