Recently I got a HP OfficeJet 6100. It's a great little all-in-one device, but it's OS X software launches every time I log in. It appears in my Login Items even after I remove it from the list (which only is supposed to contain iTunes and iCal Alarm Scheduler). But if I log out and log back in, it re-launches and somehow re-adds itself to the list of Login Items...or, more likely, in reverse order. I want to launch this software on my own...I don't need to have scanning and copying capabilities in my Dock 24/7. It has no StartupItem, either. What else could be executing it?
