Apparent Java Problems

	In a (java-based) chatroom I use, everything seems to work alright except for private chatting pop-up windows. These pop-up windows come up blanked out (the titanium color). The word "chat" is in the title bar and the red-yellow-green buttons are active in the upper left corner of the window, but everything else is dead. This happens ever since upgrading to 1.4.2. using Safari, IE, and Mozilla on OS X 10.3.3. Any ideas? Thanks!
