Hello,

I am having a problem importing some mpeg2 into iMovie 4 for editing.

My end goal is to make SVCD or VCD ( I have a Superdrive, but others want it on CD )

A bit of background might help. The footage was made in Europe on a Pal
camcorder. They sent me CDs which contain clips(mpeg2) which were burned using
Nero Start Smart and Pinnacle Studio 8 was used for editing into 2 min. segmets for me. The quality of his clips appear to be very good. When I place it in iMovie4(tricky) the quality goes way down and there is no sound & can't burn to CD.

I have roxio Toast Ti 5.2.3 and cannot seem to figure out how to burn in to work.

Would it be better to use the Apple burner to make the SVCD/VCDs, most of the folks who will be watching have Windows and live in the US like me.

Any help is greatly appreciated,

Thanks,

Al
