Is anyone else having problems with Safari loading webpages?

I've noticed the last week or two that Safari on both my G4 1.42 gig tower and on my 500 mhz ibook is not loading pages properly.

1/2 the time you click on the page and you get an error message saying "server not found".... or the page will load just fine... or it will load and all the graphics will not load, just the type.

I'd thought it was maybe just my Safari getting cluttered up, but my 500 mhz ibook has a brand new hard drive in it this week with a fresh installation of all software, and its behaving the exact same way.

So I thought it might be my internet connection, my Internet Explorer also returns the same error, but not as often as Safari.

any ideas?

Sounds like your ISP is having problems or it's in your network set-up...

Are you in any case wireless or behind a router?

I use a Airport extreme.... but my G4 is hard wired into it using the ethernet out jack.

I sometimes find my Airport Basestation stalled (one light ON - not blinking) and needing RESET when that happens.

you're not going mad. i get this problem, and i know at least one other NN'er who does. i'm not wireless, but he is, which makes me think that has naff all to do with the problem. i'm blaming Safari.
