I'm giving my old laptop to a a friend for a test run. He has always used hotmail and probably won't want to switch anytime soon and I want him to have a nice experience. Does HM work with Safari? Firefox? Anything else?

No problems with Hotmail and Safari, except that when you tell it to always keep you logged in, it doesn't (not too big a deal, probably more secure anyway).

I have lately being having trouble downloading attachments threw hotmail, the only way I have found to do it is with IE. Anyone else found this? Maybe I'm just doing something wrong and am to lazy to figure out what it is

I've seen the attachment problem in Safari as well, but it works in Firefox.
