Hasn't the topic of FTP progrmas been covered to death?
On that note. I'd also put in a vote for Transmit.

Yep.
It also proves that threads like this, aren't working the way they should...

How can threads like this exist when VersionTracker and MacUpdate exist? And those sticky threads at the top of the page.
It takes more effort to post a new thread, wait for replies and read them than doing a quick search on VersionTracker, MacUpdate or reading that sticky thread.
Threads like this one should be ignore and locked right away...no pointing to other threads or VT items...just locked shut in hopes that the person in question will learn to use search tools and become more dependent.

VersionTracker and MacUpdate don't always find me the best of what I want right away.

Well...take your time, relax, and try them all out. You can't find what is 'best' by taking other people's advice since your opinions might differ.

Transmi by far. Not that it's perfect, but it does its job very well. (I wish if there was a directory full of folders, you could drag an item into that directy and have it upload to it, instead of selecting one fo the folders within to upload to. grr.)

Grrrrrr Indeed! That is the one and only reason I don't use Transmit!
Perhaps they could make it so that if you dragged it to the drop down menu above the "my stuff" pane it would be put in that folder (i.e. the folder you are looking at on the left)?

Sorry about the redundant thread, fellows... definitely should've looked at the stickied thread. In my defense though, I couldn't get anything to turn up with a search for "FTP permissions" at MU, and I didn't want to look at every single FTP app they have listed there, and visit every developer's homepage to figure out which ones have permission capabilities.
Anyway, I'm using Transmit now. Thanks for the help.
