Maybe not an OS X app (but technically it could be under VPC), so please hold your horses for some seconds!
I know this sounds weird, but I am looking for way and/or tips on how to improve the interface of AIM for windows. Couldn't find any helpful windows forums, so I'll try my luck here!

After bringing most of my windows friends over to AIM (for iChat compatibility) I was pretty disappointed when I saw the AIM Win interface. And they reacted jealous when they saw the iChat interface - and somehow disappointed with AIM.
So, are there any ways to make AIM win 5.5 look better, more elegant, nicer chat/IM windows, no ads etc. you know of?
Any help appreciated! Thank you!!

There have got to be about a billion different AIM clients for windows - do a search on version tracker.

The one chat client that always gets mentioned on the Windows side is Trillian (sp?)

But are any of those iChat compliant (video and/or audio)?

The IM program I use on my PC is Miranda IM. Nice and very little footprint. Supports many networks.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention that! iChat video chat should be possible, hence the quest for a nice looking, tuned up AIM...
