I have a collection of a dozen mp3 I want to burn to a CD but have found the sound levels to be very different one from another. Is there an app that can harmonize them? Or any other alternative?
Thanks.

itunes does this - select sound normalisation in preferences -> effects

its ok, works reasonably and will do your whole library or whatever you want

Only for iTunes playback, not for burning CDs.

I had tried MP3 Rage for this a while back, but got variable results. If you find something better, please post back.

Found one: iVolume. MP3 rage worked somewhat and I burned three CD's with it never being quite right. iVolume shows you the amounts it's adjusting and did it perfect in one go.

In iTunes's preferences, Burning -> Burn using Sound Check.
