I've been having problems with a Dual G5 and Classic... a few weird glitches which never happened before on a G4 running the same version of X (10.3.3) and Classic (9.2.2)
Particulary working with QuarkXpress 4.11 IE.. occaisionally can't save documents. Outlook 2001 - connects to Exchange server ok, sending and receiving ok.. but problems printing to an HP 5000 series printer, quite often have to hit "try again" in the print monitor app, before the print job gets sent through. All the usual troubleshooting done, prefs and printer ppd checks etc.
I've tried using both the Classic system which was on the old G4 and tried the Classic system which came with the G5, the problems persist. Does seem, as another reader mentioned, to be an issue with G5 and the Classic environment.. anyone else been experiencing other problems ? thanks
