In the Terminal type:

open /tmp/501/TemporaryItems/

where the number is your user id which you can find out in NetInfo Manager->users->yourname->uid

Find the video as QuickTimePluginTempXXX.

Edit:
Don't need Terminal actually. You can as well do Finder->Go to folder... and enter

/tmp/501/TemporaryItems/

there.
Nasrudin sat on a river bank when someone shouted to him from the opposite side: "Hey! how do I get across?" "You are across!" Nasrudin shouted back.

For those that don't like playing with invisible folders, search for files larger than 10 MB, created today, with visibility set to all. You can then option-drag the temp file from the find window to copy it to the desktop.

Actually it's really not. Take some time to learn how to use the Terminal. It is your friend.

I searched for >30MB, because 10MB cast too wide a net.

Anyway, you don't need to option-drag: just drag to the desktop. The file will move, and iTunes won't care. Then rename it to something smart, but ending in .mov, and you're set.

I, too, snagged some nice videos this way last night.

Alternatively for those of you scrared of the terminal you can use as nifty little app called iGetMovies which basically does exactly what was instructed above, copy the quicktime file from the tmp directory and to your desktop.

I have no clue, but the place to start would be figuring out where QuickTime stores its temp files.

Tried it with Windows a while back (can't remember where the file was saved) but unfortunately it wouldn't let me copy the file while iTunes was running, and the file disappeared as soon as I quit iTunes.

The temp files are there as long as the video is open in iTunes. I was able to get all videos I tried from that folder.

Are you Katie Price?

You can search all you want, but you won't be able to copy the files as Windows won't allow you to copy a file that's locked by another application, and they'll vanish as soon as you quit iTunes.

1.) Open "Windows Explorer"

2.) Select the Internet Temporary files folder (it should be "CDocuments and Settings\username\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\" if you are using IE); but to see in the "Windows Explorer" you will need to have the "Show hidden files and folder" option checked in Tools->Folder Options.

3.) Press CTRL+E

4a.) If you are using XP; click on the "All files and folder" in the side panel; and select the "What size is it?" and then "Specify Size" and enter 10000 or 30000 using the "at least" option.

4b.) If you are using 2000; click on the "Advance" and check size and enter 10000 or 30000 using the "at least" option.

4c.) use the "Modified" option to narrow it down by day.

5.) Click search.

6.) Move whatever files you have (ending in ".mov") to you folder.
