iTunes 4.5: Reset volume levels?

After my install of iTuens 4.5, I noticed that it's volume knob had moved to the middle of the bar (I usually keep it much quieter). This didn't bother me at all, since I just had to move it back. But apparently, this new setting (mid-bar, 50%) is the same volume as my previous setting (about 10% of max). Strangely, it seems the maximum volume is the same. Anyone else notice this? Did Apple adjust the volume scale?
