Well I upgraded my PC to iTunes 4.5 and now it won't recognize my 40GB iPod...just hours earlier I used it fine w/ iTunes 4.2...any ideas?

There was also an iPod update in System Update (on the Mac) - how does one update their software on Windows?

You download it from www.itunes.com

Did it this morning at work, went well.

Interestingly if you Ipod is formated for PC, it only seems to firmware upgrade on a PC.

Ahhh, thanks a million. That update worked like a charm, plus it gives compatibility w/ Lossless encoding which is a nice plus
