I use Mail app with an imap .mac account. Something wierd has been happening lately. About one at of every 10 outgoing messages I send does not get saved in my "sent" box. It just dissapears after I send it. The message gets sent successfully, because I get replies from these, but Mail does not save a copy for me in the box. It seems to be happening more and more often now.

Has anyone else had this problem? Any idea what causes it and how to fix it? thanks.

any chance you're sending those 1 in 10 emails from the web rather than from Mail.app itself?

nope. it's all in Mail app. Anyone have any ideas why this is happening?

I have had similar problems. I cannot say that Mail is not saving every tenth mail, but it certainly is deleting some of my sent mails. Have no idea what is going on though.
